His general comments were:
- flat, flat, flat ... flat as a road
- in fact, it is a fire road
- very fast trail
- bring markers ... there are many forks
For you bushwackers, this is a ho-hum trail. But for you newbies, heck, this can be a great date ride. You can bring your date, grab a picnic basket and cuddle up beside the lake after the ride.
To get there, just head to the BANGPHRA TESABAN, via Rd 7 from the Motorway. The trailhead is right across the road.

Here are pictures taken with my buddy's N72.

Hi, stumbled upon your blog while researching MTB options in Thailand. We are a bunch of Vietnam expats looking for a MTB destination in the region. How is the riding in Thailand? We're looking for challenging singletrack that doesn't exist here.
Thanks!!

Hey Shaun,
Riding is pretty good, with nice challenging singletracks. there are a number in a 10km radius from Pattaya. so you can get a good mix of R&R and bike ride.
There are also some nice tracks in the Chiangmai area, which is another great tourist destination.
The tracks mentioned in this blog, albeit a bit dated, still do exist and some are properly maintained. The rains and floods last Sept have clogged up some tracks, but the logs are all cleared up by now.
hope this helps ..
